Beyonce and Jay Z Marry

Dreamgirl, Beyonce and her long time partner, Jay Z (Sean Carter) did the unthinkable in celebrity circles Saturday night, they got themselves hitched in private, in a small family and friends only setting and at a small venue in Manhattan, namely the rooftop garden at Jay Z’s Tribeca penthouse.

That certainly left very little for the paps to get their rotweiler style teeth into.

All that was on offer as a tit bit for the snappers was that the guests were asked to wear white to the reception. Guests being, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child band members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and Diddy, Kanye West and Oscar winning Forest Whitaker.

In a ceremony so dissimilar to that of so many A-listers such as Victoria and David Beckham, Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban and of course the constant diva, Mariah Carey in her marriage to Tommy Mottola, the Beyonce and Jay Z kept their nuptials out of the limelight and very low key.

Lets hope they set a precedence!

Does Heather Mills Get a Discount as a Lady In red?Heather Mills may have been adamant about how much money she wanted to cream off Sir Paul McCartney’s fortune in her divorce settlement last month but making a decision about hair colour is quite a different matter.

Heather Mills may have been adamant about how much money she wanted to cream off Sir Paul McCartney’s fortune in her divorce settlement last month but making a decision about hair colour is quite a different matter. After being spotted last week bolting through a New York airport, it would appear in hot pursuit of Sir Paul McCartney as he parted with his new love Nancy Shevell, Mills was attempting an incognito look by wearing a black bobbed wig. But within days she had swapped her signature blonde shade for a soft red shade of hair where although the colour had changed the style remained the same, long, shaggy, unstyled windswept and uninteresting!

Mills, 40, premiered her new colour as she left the Chic Nails Design salon in Beverly Hills on Friday wearing a supportive boot on her false leg and a flimsy orange flip-flop on the other foot.

But the burning question must be, does she get a discount for her pedicure, based on the fact she only has one leg!!!!

With a final slap in the face for Heather Mills, Sir Paul McCartney has written an article in the UK’s Sunday Times Magazine speaking about his first marriage to wife Linda McCartney.Completely leap frogging his marriage to Mills, Paul speaks with deep affection, passion and sorrow about the love of his life and of Linda’s sad death at just 56 years of age.

Sir Paul tells how Linda’s calming manner helped him to deal with the pressures of fame and helped to lead a relatively normal life.

He writes: “Linda was very down to earth. She taught me to relax. Her priorities were private rather than public. She didn’t go on television to ingratiate herself. She was just very funny, very smart and very talented.”

Lets just hope he finds that serene happiness once again to restore his faith in love.

In 2002 the actor confirmed he had been diagnosed with symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer’s disease. His family confirmed his 64-year-old wife Lydia had been with him when he died.

In a moving statement from his family the father and husband was remembered as a man who could have given more to his family, to his profession, and to his country.

“In his own words: ‘I have lived such a wonderful life. I’ve lived enough for two people.’”

As an Academy Award winner Heston won a Best Actor Oscar for his role in 1959’s Ben Hur.
