Eighty-six the breakup rumors ya’ll, Jamie Lynn Spears is engaged!!

We’re positively bubbling over with excitement for the Louisiana cutie who just last week appeared to be rethinking her relationship with Casey Aldridge due to overactive hormones. The gal just needed a little time to assess what’s what, no harm there.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” a family friend exclusively divulged to People. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Although both Casey and Jamie Lynn’s parents originally disagreed with the idea of a marriage, they must have finally decided it was time to come around.

Unfortunately a wedding date has yet to be announced, but with the baby coming this summer they’ll have to make up their minds sooner rather than later.

Congratulations guys, you pulled it off!
