The Oscars are a time for the celebrities to get all dolled up and bring their A-game. We’ve put together a list of who looked tres shiek and who looked like trash:

Let’s start off with the “best dressed,” shall we?

Jennifer Garner wore an amazing black taffeta gown by Oscar de la Renta. We are so used to seeing her in mommy-wear at the park or what not, that it’s pretty hard not to appreciate this look. You go, mama!

Amy Adams, star of Enchanted, sported an emerald green gown by Proenza Schouler - according to Yahoo.com, she had nothing in her gold purse - it still looked flawless, though! Adams really revived the old Hollywood glam look!

Diane Lane wore an age-appropriate brown (with a touch of bling), one-shouldered column dress.Â

Now let’s get to the “worst dressed”…

Amy Ryan was less than sexy in this one-shoulder, navy column dress (no bling, mind you) by Calvin Klein. It was too “plain jane” for my taste…I’m not sure who I’m more disappointed in, CK for creating such a rag or Miss Ryan for wearing it on the red carpet!

Renee Zellweger wore a white and sparkly Carolina Herrera gown. Honey, your role in Chicago ended years ago!

Anne Hathaway was less than flattering in this red, flowery dress by Marchesa. Yikes! What were you thinking?!
