Los Angeles’ trendy doggie store, Pets of Bel-Air, has been closed down.

No, not because they sold a dog to the world’s biggest unfit mother, Britney Spears - -but because the L.A. Department of Animal Regulations determined the store’s permit to sell live animals expired three and a half years ago.

The pet store has 48 hours to renew their permits.

In addition, TMZ.com is reported that The Humane Society of the United States has footage linking the celebrity pet store with puppy mill owners.

Humane Society workers say that Pets of Bel Air gets all of their pets from puppy mills. The store has supplied teacup beauties to Demi Moore, Denise Richards, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and get upwards to $3,000 for each pet.
