I’ve been lucky enough to acquire an HD wide screen TV in recent days but now I have to ask myself if it was a good move after watching Victoria Beckham, up close, being interviewed tonight on the Larry King show.

Talking her usual load of ‘cockney accented’ twoddle, and looking more and more like an extra from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video, the talentless, wannabe, hanger-on concluded her interview by thanking Larry for having her on his show (clearly there was no one of any greater interest available tonight!) and patronizingly thanking the America people for making her and her boys (including David Beckham I guess) so welcome.

Thank goodness the show was quickly followed by a meaningful, intelligent, informative news program headed by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. Ahhh, maybe HD is worth having after all!
