Most of us normal people have immediate family over for that special holiday called Thanksgiving… either that or we travel, sit in traffic, and eat a hell of a lot regardless of where we roam! Most of that excessive stuffing of faces is prep-work for the following day, referred to in this country as “Black Friday.” After all, Americans need to keep their energy up in order to honk horns like jackasses, fight for parking spots and max out our credit cards within seconds! Ah, I just love the holiday season…

With that all being said, and all kidding aside, Thanksgiving is normally a quiet time to reflect what each one of us is thankful for, right? In Hollywood, being thankful may not be as important as face painting and partying like it’s 1999!

Yes, I said face painting. Take Heidi Klum and hubby Seal for instance: On the day before the big bird gets stuffed and roasted in the oven, this wacky couple (and even little one, Henry) showed up for a Volkswagon presentation in full-blown animal-like face paint. This is couple that showed up as a biblical scene for Halloween! I say put the paint away and go home to prepare to welcome family and loved ones, Heidi!

Not all celebrities thought about themselves, though. Nicole Richie spent her turkey day handing out hot meals to the homeless like a good little Prego mommy-to-be and Calista Flockhart was just one of several stars who served meals to about 3,000 men, women, and children who were less fortunate.

Maybe the holiday season really does bring out the softer side in people such as The Hills star Heidi Montag’s fiancée, Spencer Pratt. He just so happened to show up and help out with some cooking, too. It was probably to make up for lost time of being a jerk on his reality series, don’t you agree?

Once all is said and eaten, Black Friday rolls around… dun, dun, dun. You can bet your bottom dollar that Lindsay Lohan and her little sis were out causing trouble that day.

You can also bet that ex-pop highness Britney Spears was racing around trying to win her kiddies back shopping too!
