I’m thankful for stars who try to raise their kids in a relatively normal lifestyle. They seem to be few and far between but when you see adult stars who appear to be doing a good job of raising their kids in a situation that’s nearly impossible, it’s encouraging that we might not see a rash of crazy child stars-turned-rehab-candidates a la Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and the rest of the team.

Families like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Violet manage to keep a pretty low profile. While even Miley Cyrus - who isn’t out of the limelight - has a pretty protective father in Billy Ray Cyrus.

I’m thankful for the celebs that cover up their baby’s faces instead of theirs during paparazzi photos. It’s not that the public shouldn’t know what the baby looks like - it’s the principle of the thing. For actresses like Julia Roberts, who took time off from a mega-career to care for her kids.

It makes us realize that no matter who you are, family is something to be thankful for!
