It’s that time of year - yes, yes, the time for all the fun holidays and winter weather and hot chocolate - but also the time for all the end of the year bests and worsts.

The lists are going to come pouring out - hottest actresses, worst movies, most dateable stars, most dateable star who is also the hottest actress appearing in this year’s worst movie. You get the idea.

We’ve got you covered for the lists that matter - and one of our favorites was just released: Harper Bazaar’s Best Dressed of the Year. Kate Moss is hanging on by her teeth to her spot in the top ten best dressed celebs.

Our dear Kate lagged behind a 60-something actress, a 42-year-old novelist and the current girlfriends of two of her former lovers.

The first spot went to model Natalia Vodianova ( above) . The 33-year-old Moss was also bested by actress and 62-year-old star of film The Queen Helen Mirren (who came in fourth place), and J K Rowling - author of the Harry Potter series - who was at number seven.

Belgian model Anouck Lepere (number eight)

is dating magazine editor Jefferson Hack - the father of Moss’ daughter (remember her?). And (of course another) model Irina Lazareanu

who’s been linked to Pete Doherty, bested Kate by one - coming in ninth.

It was not all age before beauty, however.

Younger celebrities also made the list - Lily Allen received a very respectable number 5, and further down the list Peaches Geldof and Keira Knightly (any surprise there?!) came in at 17th and 21st places, respectively.
