As one of the most unlikely couples recently reported by tabloids, we give you…. Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong.

Though the blonder twin has always had a taste for older men this is by far the eldest reported in the media. She has formerly dated Club owner Scott Sartiano and actor turned rocker Jared Leto, both more than ten years her senior.

Armstrong has stuck to the likes of Sheryl Crow and designer Tory Burch - he’s not really known for an interest in younger women. But the unlikely match may just be blossoming…

Ashley and Lance were spotting in New York together on two separate occasions while he was in town for the New York Marathon this week. At first the lovebirds were seen at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel ,apparently looking quite cozy while Armstrong whispered in Ashley’s ear. Other reports implied that Ashley was sitting on his lap. A Page Six reporter said, “Ashley drank red wine, sat on his lap and they were making out all night. They left together around 2 a.m.”

Then on Wednesday they were seen again at the Waverly Inn in Manhattan on another romantic date.

In more Olsen twin love life news Mary Kate Olsen was also spotted in New York hooking up with 27-year-old New York Rangers Hockey Player Sean Avery.

Apparently the Olsens had a pretty good weekend.

The twins were in town for the launch of a brand new fashion line that has nothing to do with the tween market. The Elizabeth James line will be sold in Barneys and consists of $200 accessories and $800 jackets; not exactly what you would expect from the young moguls whose prior lines could barely stay in stock at Walmart.

They’ve moved on to a more adult role in their company, apparently involved in every aspect of designing the new line from sketching to overseeing the actual production. Apparently they have also moved on to more adult men in their personal lives as well.
