Marilyn Manson doesn’t need a costume on Halloween! Here with girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood hosting the The Highlands Halloween Lingerie and Costume Ball in Hollywood.

Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson sure seems to have found his “twin” in actress Evan Rachel Wood. Although they are an awkward-looking couple - Manson with his black lipstick & robotic contact lenses, Wood with her blonde locks & ever-apparent smile - their personalities apparently mesh like bread and butter.

When asked about his lover, Manson has stated: “She’s 19 and certainly that’s very young, but that’s not a problem for me. She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn.”

With participating in films like Thirteen - where Wood portrayed an emotionally-unhinged teen with a desire for razor blades, and Augusten Burrough’s Running with Scissors - in which she plays a physiatrist’s quirky daughter with an admiration for electro-shock therapy, it seems Evan certainly has an interest in the darker, satiric aspects of life.

Cool and confident, Evan seems unaffected by her success: “I’m not a party girl, I don’t eat at the Ivy and I’m not shopping on Rodeo Drive.”

She has also spoken out about Hollywood and the pressures facing adolescents today: “Just look at the messages today’s media are sending everybody, from TV and commercials to actors and singers. Kids are just drowning in that 24-7 and it’s getting really bad.”

Manson too is well-known for giving the cold-shoulder to the main stream media, especially in his music. Take his song “The Dope Show” for example, in which he sings “They love you when you’re on all the covers, when you’re not then they love another…” it sounds like the awkward couple are not so awkward after-all!
