Thats my dad, just above her a***!
John Lennon may have sung about a ‘blackbird singing in the dead of night’ but he’s apparently chosen to make his return from the after life with the dropped feather of a white bird, and in the Australian outback, according to reports in the UK’s Daily Express newspaper.
Son of John and Yoko Ono, Julian Lennon, was recently shooting a new film in Australia when he agreed to take part in an ancient ceremony with an Aboriginal tribe and was left speechless when he was handed a white feather by a tribe elder, a symbol of great significance to him since his father once told him that if he ever wanted to make contact with Julian from beyond the grave he’d do it with a white feather.
So, 25 years after his murder in New York, John has managed to locate a white feather with which to contact Julian, WOW!
Julian, if we are to believe what we hear, isn’t the only person to have been visited by John since his death. Beatles legend, Sir Paul McCartney believes John appeared to the remaining members of the band, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Paul, in 1995 in the form of a white peacock as they recorded the song ‘Free as a Bird’.
Lets hope Julian and Sir Paul never have a feather pillow split open on them.
