The Hollywood glamour of yester-year will once again be on display as stars such as Keira Knightley and George Clooney walk the red carpet in gowns, suits and hairstyles meant to evoke the glamour of 1930s Hollywood. Charity and glamor co-exist for all. Yes, yes, it’s a bit of a utopian ideal, but Glamour magazine wanted to prove that it could be done. They hosted their 18th Annual Glamour Women of the Year awards recently, to celebrate women who have changed the world (and are of course, as gorgeous as they are charitable)!

The event brought out a number of living legends: Toni Morison won the Lifetime Achievement award, and 11 year old Abigail Breslin (from Little Miss Sunshine) was the magazine’s first-ever “Girl of the Year.”
